We had Lanz put in a new air conditioning and heating system a few years ago…. They did an excellent job and we have been very satisfied with our unit and their maintenance program! Highly recommend!

Greg came today For our fall furnace maintenance. We had him for our spring maintenance and were so impressed with his hard-working nature and expertise. He arrived on time today and worked diligently and thoroughly To make sure we were ready for winter. In addition to his professionalism he was very pleasant and thoughtful. We recommend him highly.
After a minor furnace problem was repaired by another company on our furnace last winter, we decided to carefully research and get bids for replacement of that decades-old furnace and the associated air conditioner. Michael, a Lanz sale person, worked with us over several weeks, answering many deep and detailed questions. He brought on Wes, Lanz engineer, who visited our house a couple of times to come up with a ductwork and equipment solution that addressed our various heating and cooling needs in our house. On installation day, Kevin, and a team of hard-working young guys, removed all of the old equipment inside and out, and did a very nice installation of Wes‘s engineered solution. Kevin is a ductwork fabrication artist and fabricated parts on the fly that fit perfectly. Everybody we worked with at this company was patient, knowledgeable, and readily addressed all of our questions and concerns. You guys were absolutely awesome, thanks for the wonderful job.
Will was very professional arrived on time and called ahead of time keeping me in formed of his arrival time. He conducted a thorough inspection of my Central Air furnace, changed the filter, cleaned the air pump coils. He did a very good job.
I asked Wes at Lanz to find a way to put a mini split in a bedroom in a rather constrained part of the house. I was amazed at the solution he and Thomas found. Once the equipment arrived, they completed the work in a day! Looks great and works super! Thanks so much!
A major thank you to Shannon from drain cleaning! He is absolutely wonderful at his job and as a person! Words will not even begin to describe how grateful I am for him to come out after hours and help fix our issue with the drain pipe that was causing sewage to back up into our crawl space.

Have a maintenance agreement with Lanz. They just came out for the spring plumbing and cooling check. Did a thorough job, polite, careful, explained what they did and how things looked. All is in good working condition.

I’ve used Lanz for a number of projects and their work is always excellent, and reasonably priced.. Phillip from Lanz did a small repair for me recently and I felt he went above and beyond; explained every step of the project and fixed another small item for free, as well as offering me another service program that I wasn’t aware of. I will definitely use Lanz in the future, and recommend them for their quality, honest work.
The plumber was friendly and knowledgeable and successfully fixed our toilets. But he kept using our piano as a table to hold the wet toilet parts he was replacing. Twice we had to put towels under the pieces.
The Lanz technicians were polite and professional. We had both HVAC and plumbing seasonal check ups. The plumbing expert found a few things and fixed them quickly during the maintenance visit. Always fast, they get to the bottom of the problem and fix it. Had my ducts cleaned and air conditioner fixed recently, and both services went off without a hitch. Can’t beat the prices either; taking care of your home can be expensive, but it doesn’t mean it has to break the bank.
Will was very personable and fixed our furnace and air conditioner in a very timely manner. He explained everything that he was doing and what parts he would recommend replacing. I gave him the ok and he installed the parts. Systems both work great! He will come back and replace a capacitor in the future. Would definitely recommend Will for any needed repairs.I wish that dispatch would have let me know they received my call and we were on the schedule. I was worried they had misplaced my call.
Technician was able to come out the same day I called. He was friendly, knowledgable, and clearly explained our three options for dealing with our leaking water heater. Cost was clear, and seemed fair. Lanz may not be the cheapest provider, but they are reasonable and our two experiences with them have been good. Both the people they sent (Ron in 2021 and Boston in 2024) were excellent.
Our AC wasn’t working like it was supposed to. We could hear the air blowing but it just wouldn’t get cold enough to bring the temperature down. My husband called Lanz and they got a guy here within the hour and got our AC fixed!! It ended up being that capacitor had pooped out and Matthew was well equipped and got it replaced. He was here all of a hour and the service was fairly priced. Very big thank you to Matthew for helping us out!!
My husband and I have been loyal customers of Lanz, Inc., since 2011, when they installed our new furnace/heat pump units. This has saved us so much money every year on electricity and propane. Love our system, but also enjoy the people that come to do the twice yearly inspection. Today Victor came for our unit’s fall inspection. He was so nice and very knowledgeable in explaining everything he did and things to watch for. This is our 16th inspection, and I am just as confident in the equipment today as I was when it was first installed.04/12/2024. Just had our spring maintenance checkup on our HVAC system. Once again, great service and a knowledgeable and friendly technician. I am never disappointed with Lanz.
We’ve had several Lanz employees come do service calls at this house, and our old house. Every employee has been friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and wonderful to work with. We use Lanz for plumbing and HVAC and will continue to from here on out.
David was very helpful with today’s service. I was unable to be home at time of service but he was able to get in and fixed the problem. David was patient with me as I was dealing with another contractor who was responsible for the bill. Gave David a call back when we got it straightened out and then he was able to close the bill. Ron took care of my water problem in the crawl space. Showed me a video of water mist leaking from hole in water copper tubing, and repaired the leak. Impressed with his knowledge of the situation. Would recommend.

My wife & I were told by All Pro in Tuscola that we would have to tear up our floor to fix our issue (we have a slab foundation) before we agreed to spend $2000-$5000 I wanted a 2nd opinion. So I called Lanz, Shannon came out only 2 hours after I called. Right away he said with his experience he doesn’t think that’s the case so he got to work. Lanz Heating and Cooling was called because the box on my furnace needed replacing. Greg came out, assessed the situation, gave me a quote and even put a different filter on the furnace that was much more efficient and easy to install. What a difference.
