Where do I begin on how great this company and entire staff are. I work in a Sorority house that is over 100 years old. It's something everyday it seems. I've never had to wait more than a day for them to get to us. It's actually, usually the same day.They also installed a new boiler for us this past summer. It's so nice to turn it on for the season and all the ladies are warm and comfortable.On a personal note, some friends of mine had a major pipe leak on a Saturday. They have children and were without water. Gerald went out immediately, crawled in the cold mud (under the house) and fixed the pipe(s). He went above and beyond what any other company would do. He cared!Thank you Lanz for everything you do for us!!! You're the best.

A Lanz serviceman came this morning to do routine maintenance on our furnace. I told him I thought I smelled gas but others did not so would he simply do a test for me to see if any was detected. He nicely agreed.He came back to tell me not only did he smell gas when he went in the furnace room, his tester came back positive AND he had found the issue.He did say the leak was minor and posed no immediate danger but he would call his boss to see how soon someone could come out to fix it.He came back just a few minutes later to say he was going to see if he could find the part at the local hardware store in our small town and if he could not, his boss would go get the part and bring it to him.Not long after that, he returned to say he could not find the part but was shutting off the gas and going to prep the area so that when his boss arrived with the part he would be ready to go.I am pleased to say that he was able to replace the part, retest for a leak and all is good now. He turned gas back on and relit all pilot lights.I am so very pleased that he took me seriously and did the test and fixed the issue.I will continue to use Lanz and to recommend them to any who ask.

November 2025 updste: Lanz was just here to check out our plumbing and furnace, everything was great. I had let them know a few days before that we had a small leak in our 25 year old water heater. The hole was on the bottom, our water heater is worn out. They gave us our options, no pressure whatsoever on ordering something fancy, and we were able to make a family decision on what to do next. I already knew we needed a new one, we got it all figured out while they were here, our new water heater will be installed in a few days. It was a great experience, though spending that kind of money is never fun. Also while here for furnace, I mentioned one of the dampers didn't seem to close or open right. Wil went right to work, and found that the damper had these extra wings on the end because of the bend in the duct to help it operate more efficiently. What i thought was an issue was part of the design. I was so glad to have that settled. Lanz continues to do right by me and my family.June 2025 Update: been 3 years since got new air conditioner and furnace. Couldnt be happier. Lanz was here today for semi-annual inspection. Everything is working great, pointed out 25+ year old water heater. Gave us a quote, along with the message that it could continue to serve us well for a number of years, but to be aware that it could also fail. Gave us a few pointers to look out for, like not enough hot water, but today still working well. Very professional, supportive, and answered all the questions i had. Glad they are our HVAC provider.Our Lanz service includes a plumbing inspection. They didn't try to oversell us, but did point out the problems with our bathroom shutoff that I knew were stuck and not functional, but hadn't taken care of. They gave me a very reasonable quote for getting those replaced, and I am grateful They reminded me. I would not have remembered until one of them failed completely and we would have had water damage. We've been on a plan with Lanz for 9 years now and it truly has been great.Older-Our compressor went out on our 22 year old system, and we have had small issues with our furnace the last two years, so we decided to upgrade our entire system, furnace and air conditioner. Lanz was great, gave us options, explained the differences, and helped us understand the benefits of the system we decided to go with. Kurt was helpful, available, and knowledgeable, great experience.They have earned my trust and I will always be a Lanz customer.Older - Lanz has been great, and today we had our air conditioning system maintenanced. Victor was courteous, knowledgeable, and very informative as he explained the work he was doing. He answered all of my questions, and it was a great experience. I would be glad to have him be our Lanz rep for any future needs.

Had a ceiling leak this morning. Called around six within an hour and a half. Kyle was here. Extremely courteous explained everything and definitely knew what he was doing. I had a water leak under my home-on a slab. I had called a company I had been a customer for years and they would have been able to do it as planned. Unfortunately the way things went it was one obstacle after another and was going to be a huge mess.Not the fault of the first company, just one thing after another unexpected thing making a relatively simple job a real headache.I called Lanz and they eased my mind considerably just telling me what they could do. They had the needed equipment to bore under the foundation and run a new water line without tearing up far more of my yard. They did a great job, cleaned up better than expected and at a reasonable cost.I am quiet pleased with their work and do recommend them.

It is both unsightly and, more importantly, illegal to park in a way that obstructs access to a disability ramp.The van is now being parked directly in front of the ramp, completely blocking it and effectively rendering it unusable. This is not only an inconvenience but also a violation of accessibility laws, which are in place to ensure that individuals with disabilities can safely and independently use public spaces. Parking in this manner is in violation of local parking ordinances regarding accessibility.Given that you are not a person with a disability or someone with a passenger requiring access to this area, there is absolutely no reason for the van to be parked in such a manner. I kindly request that you park in a different location that does not obstruct this crucial public access point.Please be advised that continuing to park in this way may result in legal action or enforcement by local authorities.

Quick, friendly service on the phone to schedule. Ours was not an emergency, but they were able to send a technician within 4 hours. A competitor was going to take six days. Tech did a great job in explaining the problem and solution, as well as the cost. He finished within 15 minutes, cleaned up his stuff and did a great job! Would use again if we need the service.

Lanz is generally trustworthy and efficient. They have been servicing our plumbing and heating for more than twenty years. One main reason I like Lanz, especially in recent years, is because of Boston, their plumber. He is professional, knowledgeable, and unfailingly polite and thoughtful. He is always efficient and careful in his repair work. And in one instance he tried to repair our leaking toilet three times, and free for two times. Only when it still didn’t work, without pushing us, he recommended replacing it.
