Arrived to diagnose sump pump. 4” + of water in basement Existing pump was not able to pump water out fast enough and was beginning to fail Replaced existing pump with Liberty 237 Once new pump was installed technician could see water level going down Temporarily hooked up a piece of 1 1/2 pvc on the outlet outside to get water further away from house Technician stayed for a while to ensure pump was draining good Customer has questions about his battery backup system and pump in the back yard. Technician was not able to answer those questions and recommended a senior technician to come out to trouble shoot back up pump and help explain the system. Lead sent to underground for burying sump line through the yard into the ditch for better drainage and ensuring water won’t be coming back into the house after it’s pumped out. Customer also has a very shallow sump pit. Technician recommended possibly replacing pit with a deeper pit to make flooding less likely to happen. New pum

Customer is searching for a plumber to address shower pipes that seem to be banging around. Upon arrival the technician inspected the shower pipes in the upstairs bathroom and discovered some movement. Determined much of the movement is due to pex piping behind wall but that tightening diverter to wall could potentially eliminate some of that movement (diverter leaks when shower is running so quoted replacing it). To make any further adjustments would require cutting into wall behind shower which customer is declining to do at this time. The technician will be obtaining a requested quote for repair of hot/cold manifold where heavy corrosion is showing up.

Customer searching for Air conditioning repair due to water leaking from the unit. Upon arrival the technician found a large area in a storage closet was wet where the flooring was soaked all the way through. It is difficult to determine at this time, whether the condensation line is leaking or the evaporator coil drain pan is cracked. Recommended replacing the first section of drain line through the floor and inspecting evap coil. Checked system pressure to see if EVAP coil was freezing and thawing out causing the large amount of water, system may be low on R-22. Also recommend a full system tune up to determine this. Will need another tech to come out with me to make repair. Will call to schedule.

Customer is searching for a Drain professional due to a backed-up sewer line. The technician arrived to investigate backed up sewer on new home. Used sewer camera to investigate problem because line was not currently backed up. Found the line to have a blue conduit through it and the sewer line broken. Located and traced the sewer line. Line is marked with pink paint and pink flags. This was a very difficult locate and took extra time due to heavy interference from a large power line underground. It was necessary to use two different locating devices to verify the location of the damage. After the line increases in diameter near the power box the sewer is under water, further complicating the locate process. It is possible that this sewer is angled down but I can’t be sure. Customer is searching for a furnace repair professional due to unit not heating home. Upon arrival the technician found the system not heating. Found the control board not lit up with a 24V present. This repair will be covered by the Lanz Service Warranty and manufacture warranty. 10/24/2024 Replaced personality module. Tested the system in all stages of heating.
