Lanz service was excellent. Had both a furnace check and hot water heater/plumbing check and both young men were courteous and professional. Would highly recommend!
Outstanding! The technician who came out was so knowledgeable and helpful. Our toilets were overflowing and it turns out there were roots in the pipes and he solved it all in one afternoon! (After we paid a different company $1100 this morning to disassemble our toilet and tell us they couldn’t do anything today because they need to break up our concrete patio and rent a back hoe.) We are so grateful for Lanz Plumbing and their expertise. We are customers for life.
I've been a member of the Lanz Comfort Club for several years. They come regularly to check my furnace and air conditioning and keep their appointments. Their technicians are always polite and informative and the keep things clean. I highly recommend Lanz and its Comfort Club.UPDATE: Recent incident with Lanz. I recently had a new air conditioner installed. That part was done well. When time came to write up the invoice, I reminded the technician that I was a member of their Orange Club. He apparently checked and said that I was not listed. I've been paying my monthly fee for decades. The technician said he would take care of that. Shortly after, I needed some plumbing work. Once again I reminded the technician that I was a member of the Orange Club. Once again it was checked and was told that I was not listed and that my membership had been terminated earlier that month. No one had told me. So, I asked him to leave. I later filled out the online form for membership. That was months ago. No response still. Was I placed on some black list? It was an unpleasant end to a long and satisfactory business relationship. Very disappointing.
LANZ Plbg & Htg responded promptly for a service call regarding a leaking toilet. Technician arrived about 30 minutes later. Technician diagnosed the problem and ended up working through two attempts at replacing wax seal. After 2nd attempt and thorough testing toilet no longer leaked. Next day noticed there was a slight rocking back and forth. Called LANZ again on Friday at 3pm. Another Technician arrived in 20 minutes. Performed full diagnostics and replaced bolts and shimmed toilet so it no longer rocks. Tested toilet thoroughly and had me inspect. All's good and Technician did a great job. No fee charged for call back. Great service and overall a positive experience.
Excellent fast service with our plumbing emergency! Austin was professional and courteous, we will have them as our provider for heatair and plumbing from now on.
I'm beside myself right now. 2024 has been hard. I received a phone call from Wes telling me that he heard our family is in need of a new furnace. Lanz is gifting us a new furnace with insulation at no cost. Wes came out personally this morning to take measurements and calculate everything needed. I'm in shock. Our furnace went out on us a couple of weeks ago, and I've been stressing about what we were going to do. Thank God this prayer is being answered. I know it sounds cliche, but I can't thank Lanz enough for all they are doing for us. When you are so far down and things keep going wrong, this pulls me back up and gives me more reassurance that things are getting better. This is life changing, and I will never forget. Thank you again. We are so thankful
We have used Lanz twice now in the last couple years - first to replace a water heater, and second, to install a toilet and new supply line for it. They did an excellent job in both cases, dealing with 70-yr-old galvanized steel pipes. Maybe we could have saved a little money shopping around more thoroughly for the cheapest quote, but we wanted the work done right, and in that regard we are very pleased.
I had a weird intermittent problem with my furnace that only happened under very specific conditions. I called Lanz and asked if someone could come take a look. The service tech (Greg Weitekamp) performed routine maintenace and began troubleshooting. He asked if he could take a look at the ventilation pipes going through the attic. He identified an exhaust ventilation issue within 10 seconds of being in the attic. He proceeded to remedy the problem and upon completion, tested the unit to ensure everything was operating as intended. The ventilation pipe was installed over ten years ago and had been missed by a few home inspectors. Greg handled the repair with ease and urgency. He really went above and beyond in my opinion and represented his employer well during this visit. After talking to Greg about routine maintenance and how I should handle everything in the future he suggested that I sign up for a maintenance plan, which I did. I look forward to future visits from Lanz and thank Greg for his time and effort! I highly recommend Lanz to anyone needing routine maintenance and/or help with an outage.
We had Shannon come out right after the holiday and help with a clogged drain. He was able to take care of us and give us great advice to help with the issue in the future. We had such a quick response from our call and excellent service!! Just wanted to say thank for your service!
I had a furnace tune up and plumbing, maintenance done. Both technicians were very thorough and explained everything every step of the way. I would highly recommend Lanz.
There was an unexpected issue after the replacement of a water meter to my house. We needed a fix quick, and Lanz was able to get here and get it taken care of same day. Even with a full schedule they understood the inconvenience of my situation. They sent us a really knowledgeable plumber that did a great quality job.

3rd time with Lanz, and he (Shannon(Shaun?)) was amazing. Found the issue, explained it well to my husband who was home (I was at work) and detailed the solution. It was affordable service, and he was so knowledgeable and gave helpful tips and preventing the issue in the future. And this is getting us in right after the holidays when the pipe/sewer issue reared its head on Thanksgiving itself, to which they offered emergency service at no additional cost if we'd needed. 5/5 will be calling again! =)
Had basement sump pump line buried. The whole process was speedy and of highest quality. Estimate and explanations before and after were professional and clear.
Great experience with Lanz - was recommended to work with them by a neighbor. Had a backup, and the team was able to locate our clean out, rod some roots, and send us a video after for our reference. Couldn’t have been happier with them!

They didn’t have to, but I appreciated their effort to re-look over my billing.They felt it was indeed a little overpriced, so they are going to send me a partial refund for the total I paid.I am very impressed by this, because most companies bill someone and that’s it.So for them to care enough about my feeling and make it right, is much appreciated. Thank you LANZ Plumbing and Heating.I think LANZ does a good job with plumbing, and I know inflation is terrible, but I was charged $452 for 20 minutes of work on my kitchen leaking pipes (vent repair). That seems way overpriced!

I had pipes break and Austin called me back in a timely response. This was on a Sunday evening . Which is hard to get someone out. Austin evaluation of the problem and gave me options. He fixed the problem in no time and hauled away all the old c cvc pipe. It had become brittle and broke real easy.
Boston Williams, the Plumbing Technician, had to redesign the plumbing for our kitchen and even after running into unexpected problems with the pipes in the wall, he did an excellent job. He made the pipes more efficient, saved space under the sink and was a very pleasant person to work with. Excellent job.
Had such a great experience getting our air ducts cleaned before winter! We moved into our home over the summer after the same residents had lived in it for 50+ years and it was built in 1902. So we’re going through all our firsts. The gentleman who came was super helpful explaining everything and told us it probably hadn’t been done in 60+ years. Will be returning to Lanz next time we need this work done!!

I called them with an emergency plumbing problem at noon on Saturday. Dirty water was backing up into our basement toilet and shower. I knew that meant the sewer line out to the city sewer was clogged. He came to the house within an hour. The plumber rodded out the line and fixed our problem. He saved us from a plumbing nightmare! Then on Monday a senior plumber went back to the house to double check the sewer line. Excellent service!
Lanz came out for a second opinion that I desperately needed. The sewer drain cleaning went fine and was done right away. Very happy with that part of my work that needs to be done.
Butch came earlier than scheduled (yay!) and completed the installation of two mew faucets to feed water to the new washing machine. He did a great, professional job.

Friday morning we woke up to no hot water. The water heater was not working. It's electric and it had power to it so I knew it was the heating element or the thermostat. I called land and they had a technician out at 4 that afternoon to diagnos the problem. The water heater needed to be drained and that takes time so the technician left to get the parts it needed and came back on Saturday to fix the problem. If you need good affordable plumber service call Lanz plumbing Heating and ac. You won't be disappointed.
Shannon Valentine did a great job finding the root cause of our plumbing issue. He explained it thoroughly and fixed what was needed to get our tub and toilet running again. He also pointed out a separate issue we weren't aware of. We'll definitely be calling Lanz again based on the great customer service experience we had with Shannon.
