Customer searching for HVAC contractor e to AC . Arrived and found 24v to the contactor, but no incoming voltage. Found breaker was flipped off. Turned breaker on and tested, outdoor fan and compressor both kicked on and ran properly. Washed cleanable filter and washed off outdoor condenser coil as it was fairly dirty. Checked pressure and found suction pressure at (r-22) 60 psi and high around 200psi. The low side pressures saturation temperature was just above 32 and the subcool was 3, with a superheat of 15. Did not get a delta t. Given low outdoor ambient temperatures and pressure, system may be low on r-22. Customer will keep an eye on system performance and watch for any freezing at inside coil/lineset and outdoor suction line. If any freezing does occur when there is a higher load, there surely is a leak somewhere in system and issue will need to be addressed. Gave customer a few different options if this issue does arise again.
