Upon arrival the technician checked for any sort of issues with HVAC system or ductwork that could be causing high VOC readings and customers allergies. Checked humidity levels in ductwork, blower condition, coil condition, what rooms return ductwork is in, and checked for leaks of refrigerant in evap coil. I did not notice anything out of the ordinary with the HVAC system, everything was operating correctly and clean.

Upon arrival the technician found the furnace not running & presenting E2.2 alert on the control board (exceeded to tries not holding flame) I performed the precision tune up in heating mode. Inspected, tested and cleaned all, the system components as needed. It seems like due to dirty sensor the IFC wasn’t receiving proper flame signal. I tested operations in 1st & 2nd stage with the system operating properly and reaching set temperature.

The technician verified the breaker was not tripped, it was, the technician reset. The pump still didn’t operate. The technician plugged the pump into an extension cord and the pump operated. The technician informed the customer the outlet was bad and referred Complete Electrical 217-493-9099. The technician reinstalled the sump pump , it operated but didn’t remove the water. The technician removed the sump pump again and found the pump impeller plugged up with sand and rock also in the check valve. The technician installed a brick/platform for the pump to sit on. The technician reinstalled the pump and it removed the water. The technician verified operation by filling the pit 2 more times, the pump was turning on and off as it should.

Customer is searching for Drain Cleaning for a clog. Arrived to clogged downspout near large tree at the corner of the home. Attempted to rod he line to clear the blockage. 3/4 cable used 1/2R3 cutter 100 feet ran. Cable machine was unsuccessful. Jetter also hit the same spot that the cutter was blocked. Could not get a locator in the line due to multiple crushed sections. Attempted to rod the downspout near the pool storage area in an effort to see if I could find the connection from the other line. The cable made it all the way to the catch basin at the back of the property. This pipe is also severely crushed down and blocked the camera. I was eventually able to hear the jetter very near one of the fence posts. Line need repaired near the fence post at a minimum. This line should be replaced with a more durable material. I checked the system filter before powering it on, the filter was dusty and not letting much air through. It had collapsed and air was going around the filter media. I noticed the system was very quiet as it turned on. I checked the refrigerant pressures and found it equal on both sides, around 270 psig. I opened the electrical panel and saw the compressor wire of the capacitor burnt off and signs of mice in the panel. I cleared out most of the acorns in the panel and turned the power off. The capacitor is reading at 0 across all terminals. Capacitor replacement required for further testing, however, I believe a replacement capacitor is all that is needed to restore the unit’s functionality.
