I had a weird intermittent problem with my furnace that only happened under very specific conditions. I called Lanz and asked if someone could come take a look. The service tech (Greg Weitekamp) performed routine maintenace and began troubleshooting. He asked if he could take a look at the ventilation pipes going through the attic. He identified an exhaust ventilation issue within 10 seconds of being in the attic. He proceeded to remedy the problem and upon completion, tested the unit to ensure everything was operating as intended. The ventilation pipe was installed over ten years ago and had been missed by a few home inspectors. Greg handled the repair with ease and urgency. He really went above and beyond in my opinion and represented his employer well during this visit. After talking to Greg about routine maintenance and how I should handle everything in the future he suggested that I sign up for a maintenance plan, which I did. I look forward to future visits from Lanz and thank Greg for his time and effort! I highly recommend Lanz to anyone needing routine maintenance and/or help with an outage.

3rd time with Lanz, and he (Shannon(Shaun?)) was amazing. Found the issue, explained it well to my husband who was home (I was at work) and detailed the solution. It was affordable service, and he was so knowledgeable and gave helpful tips and preventing the issue in the future. And this is getting us in right after the holidays when the pipe/sewer issue reared its head on Thanksgiving itself, to which they offered emergency service at no additional cost if we'd needed. 5/5 will be calling again! =)

LANZ reached out to me after I wrote my original review down below. They didn’t have to, but I appreciated their effort to re-look over my billing.They felt it was indeed a little overpriced, so they are going to send me a partial refund for the total I paid.I am very impressed by this, because most companies bill someone and that’s it.So for them to care enough about my feeling and make it right, is much appreciated. Thank you LANZ Plumbing and Heating.I think LANZ does a good job with plumbing, and I know inflation is terrible, but I was charged $452 for 20 minutes of work on my kitchen leaking pipes (vent repair). That seems way overpriced!

I had pipes break and Austin called me back in a timely response. This was on a Sunday evening . Which is hard to get someone out. Austin evaluation of the problem and gave me options. He fixed the problem in no time and hauled away all the old c cvc pipe. It had become brittle and broke real easy.

Boston Williams, the Plumbing Technician, had to redesign the plumbing for our kitchen and even after running into unexpected problems with the pipes in the wall, he did an excellent job. He made the pipes more efficient, saved space under the sink and was a very pleasant person to work with. Excellent job.

Had such a great experience getting our air ducts cleaned before winter! We moved into our home over the summer after the same residents had lived in it for 50+ years and it was built in 1902. So we’re going through all our firsts. The gentleman who came was super helpful explaining everything and told us it probably hadn’t been done in 60+ years. Will be returning to Lanz next time we need this work done!!

I called them with an emergency plumbing problem at noon on Saturday. Dirty water was backing up into our basement toilet and shower. I knew that meant the sewer line out to the city sewer was clogged. He came to the house within an hour. The plumber rodded out the line and fixed our problem. He saved us from a plumbing nightmare! Then on Monday a senior plumber went back to the house to double check the sewer line. Excellent service!

Friday morning we woke up to no hot water. The water heater was not working. It's electric and it had power to it so I knew it was the heating element or the thermostat. I called land and they had a technician out at 4 that afternoon to diagnos the problem. The water heater needed to be drained and that takes time so the technician left to get the parts it needed and came back on Saturday to fix the problem. Shannon arrived on time. He was very professional and informed us right away what the cost would be, before he started to work. He worked very hard to locate the laterals and the second hatch off the septic tank. He had to dig through rock and did not complain at all. When he found a problem he kept us informed at all times and answered all questions. He tried another cutting rooter when the first wouldn’t go through to at least give us a way to temporarily fix the problem. I did not feel as if he was trying to trick us or add costly repairs that we didn’t need. I would highly recommend Lanz and their tech Shannon. Thank you!

I can’t express enough what a great and comprehensive job Michael Savage and his team at Lanz did for us when our AC went out over the weekend. Michael knew a heatwave was coming and came out on a Sunday evening to assess the situation and give us some options to review. While this wasn’t a planned expense for us, he made it easy to understand the options and gave us some flexible choices to make. On top of it all, Michael was able to find a way to get us an appointment later that same week for the installation to get completed before the big heatwave struck! We couldn’t be happier with the great customer service and professional work that Lanz did - we highly recommend them for any of your HVAC needs!

They just want to persuade you to get all new unit put in without fixing the problem and not 100% sure but I think he was draining my refrigerant as he was supposed to be checking the level to make it look like I had other issues with the unit
