November 2025 updste: Lanz was just here to check out our plumbing and furnace, everything was great. I had let them know a few days before that we had a small leak in our 25 year old water heater. The hole was on the bottom, our water heater is worn out. They gave us our options, no pressure whatsoever on ordering something fancy, and we were able to make a family decision on what to do next. I already knew we needed a new one, we got it all figured out while they were here, our new water heater will be installed in a few days. It was a great experience, though spending that kind of money is never fun. Also while here for furnace, I mentioned one of the dampers didn't seem to close or open right. Wil went right to work, and found that the damper had these extra wings on the end because of the bend in the duct to help it operate more efficiently. What i thought was an issue was part of the design. I was so glad to have that settled. Lanz continues to do right by me and my family.June 2025 Update: been 3 years since got new air conditioner and furnace. Couldnt be happier. Lanz was here today for semi-annual inspection. Everything is working great, pointed out 25+ year old water heater. Gave us a quote, along with the message that it could continue to serve us well for a number of years, but to be aware that it could also fail. Gave us a few pointers to look out for, like not enough hot water, but today still working well. Very professional, supportive, and answered all the questions i had. Glad they are our HVAC provider.Our Lanz service includes a plumbing inspection. They didn't try to oversell us, but did point out the problems with our bathroom shutoff that I knew were stuck and not functional, but hadn't taken care of. They gave me a very reasonable quote for getting those replaced, and I am grateful They reminded me. I would not have remembered until one of them failed completely and we would have had water damage. We've been on a plan with Lanz for 9 years now and it truly has been great.Older-Our compressor went out on our 22 year old system, and we have had small issues with our furnace the last two years, so we decided to upgrade our entire system, furnace and air conditioner. Lanz was great, gave us options, explained the differences, and helped us understand the benefits of the system we decided to go with. Kurt was helpful, available, and knowledgeable, great experience.They have earned my trust and I will always be a Lanz customer.Older - Lanz has been great, and today we had our air conditioning system maintenanced. Victor was courteous, knowledgeable, and very informative as he explained the work he was doing. He answered all of my questions, and it was a great experience. I would be glad to have him be our Lanz rep for any future needs.
