the technicians now run a hvac and water heater and plumbing service together in one trip. They are polite efficient and gives good advice of house maintenance for hvac and water system.

The gentleman who came to deal with my issue (leaky toilet, identifying whole house water shut off) was named Boston Williams. What a great guy! He was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. He gave us multiple opportunities to ask queations and gave us great information. I try to support local since I live in Coles County, but my recent service from locals was less than satisfactory. I am so relieved to know that Lanz will be my go-to for all my plumbing, heating and cooling needs. I highly recommend Lanz!My most recent experience was with two great young men, Will and Josh. Lanz Heating and Cooling was called because the box on my furnace needed replacing. Greg came out, assessed the situation, gave me a quote and even put a different filter on the furnace that was much more efficient and easy to install. What a difference.
Our tub faucet wasn’t shutting off all the way and the plumber (I didn’t catch his name) came in a fixed it! He was really fast too! I will say, the faucet knob looks a tad wonky but that may be what these old knobs do. Thank you Lanz!

After coming back home from an out-of-state vacation, we found out that our AC wasn’t working. Thankfully, Lanz had a technician available, Jeremy! He was extremely friendly and was able to figure out what needed to be fixed for our AC to work properly again! Such a good relief to have our AC fixed as soon as possible!!
Jeremy came out quickly on a Saturday afternoon for an air conditioner repair. Didn’t have the parts but we appreciate the prompt service and he’ll be back once the part arrives.

We had an A/C and furnace unit replaced and despite the close quarters and complications with our prior equipment, they were professional, polite, and very competent in all that they did. We’re really happy so far with our new system from Lanz! The touchscreen thermostat is a huge upgrade from our old Nest—it’s much more user-friendly. The house is staying comfortable, even on 90+ degree days, which is a noticeable improvement from our previous setup.We had a small hiccup during payment when I initially tried to use an expired card, but it was quickly resolved. The new card had already arrived—I had just overlooked it. Lanz was professional and understanding throughout, and we really appreciate the great service.Overall, the experience was smooth, professional, and genuinely impressive—we’re so glad we chose Lanz!

Communication is highlighted on Lantz website but it was a major issue for me. Reported this problem on Saturday, received text advising someone would contact me soon. Never happened. Reported again on Sunday & received a call advising someone would be there around 5 or 6. No one showed up. Eventually received a call after 8 pm advising they would be there tomorrow. They eventually showed up at 5:30 pm on Monday. I bought the system from Lantz around 5 years ago and I pay the annual service (Orange). I expected better. 5 stars for the Tech 1 star for customer service.
Called with minor plumbing emergency and Jesse H showed up within an hour and completed repairs quickly and professionally. He was courteous and repaired our leaks all within a little over an hour. Outstanding service!
Last year Lanz sent someone to fix a small leak in my Condensation drain line. This year there was a crack found in the connect from my condensation drain line to the cooler coil as a result of that pipe being cut from last year causing another leak.. I paid for the repair $314.I’m hoping for fair compensation due to this second leak as a result of previous work.. my condensation line was found clean and NOT CLOGGED this year and the pan was also clean.I also have water damage as a result of this leak.. there is mold present and my drywall and carpet is ruined as a result. I’m willing to accept/negotiate fair compensation! Please help
I called them at 10pm on July 2 because my AC stopped cooling. The technician called me and explained that he couldn’t get here that night but would be here the next morning around 9am as I would be the second client. I called the office in the morning and they explained it would probably be a little bit later in the morning. So the repair person arrived at my house around 11:30 AM. He diagnosed the problem and had everything working for me by 1:00PM. I am very pleased!
Crew cane to inspect AC. Both men were polite, efficient and thorough during the inspection. Finished within 30 minutes. I would schedule with Lanz again.
Another company wanted to charge us thousands to dig up our yard, I’m SO glad we called Lanz for a second opinion. They were able to more effectively clean out our wastewater pipes and that fixed the issue with no digging.

During the middle of this heat wave my condenser fan stopped working and the temperature inside got up to 90° inside. I called and was told that there were at least 20 calls ahead of me. To my surprise I received a call the next day to let me know that a technician was on his way over. After some troubleshooting and some parts replacing I was back in the 74° house within 2 hours.

I signed up for the yearly maintenance plan. Lanz came and did a thorough inspection of furnace, air con, water heater, and checked the plumbing. They were very polite and informative, and advised me on fixing a plumbing issue I need to fix. I am very pleased with their work.
Our AC for our upstairs was out for A week when we called them. They moved us up in there schedule and got us in . We got a new furnace and heat pump. They sent 5 guys out to do the work. After 24 hours it still was not working upstairs so we called and they had two guys here in 10 mins. They fixed the problem. Very happy.

Technician arrived within an hour of call that he was on his way. Technician ran through his test and replacement of AC capacitor for a 20° change from out flow and intake. It took about 20 minutes.
