Came for plumbing maintenance customer mentioned water temperature up and down ,tank booster reading 160 , faucet 168 after draining flushing water Heater pressure on hot side was bare. Minimal pulled mixing valve seen on the check valves severely plugged up. Talk to the customer about replacement while we waited for tank to get back up to temperature. Finished the rest of the maintenance in which I found no issues and everything seem to be in good proper working order.
Returned and found drain line where repair had been made was disconnected. Put primer and pvc glue on connections and tested. Drain line is draining properly. Tested other drain line and found it was clogged. Used Swoosh gun to blow out line and test. Line is now draining properly. Will return to take out suction line filter drier.
Performed Cooling Maintenance, checked and cleaned system components. System is heating well in heat pump mode, all parts and components are in good working condition. No repairs or replacement parts are recommended at this time. Due to cold weather I was unable to test the refrigerant levels in the system. I was however able to test the system in heat pump mode, it is operating well which makes me confident that there is no refrigerant leak. It is the best practice to check refrigerant levels in cooling mode, I am recommending to come back at a later date to perform a refrigeration check when it is above 60 degrees outside. HP temp rise of 18 degrees
