Upon arrival, checked out water heater which was an electric tank style from 93. Lower element was bad and upper element. I was starting to go bad as well it had a lower than normal Reading indicating failure and normal expansion tank has failed. Bladder is flooded causing water in tanks. Become stagnant, which can cross contaminate recommend replacing tank and TMP valve as well. Will give quote for repairs.

Arrived to clear sewer line after Underground removed the broken sewer cable left by another company. Access through 6” PVC clean out. Rodded line to clear the blockage. 3/4 cable 120 feet ran 1/2R3 and F6 cutter used Roots caused blockage. Rodded line twice. Post cleaning camera inspection shows a small amount of roots remaining along the top of joints but no structural issues at this time.

Arrived on site for furnace issue. Customer reported that there was a gas leak in the house. They had a company come out to test. I found the leak on the half inch union inside of the furnace cabinet. The customer asked if I would replace that half inch union. I tested to make sure that this information was correct , it appears so. I proceeded to replace the half inch union and discovered that some of the other gas pipe was slightly off. I ended up replacing a 4 inch nipple and a 3 1/2 inch nipple with a 4 inch nipple and a 4 1/2 inch nipple. This squared up the gas union much more nicely and it was able to have a much more secure fit. I tested my fittings and all other adjacent joints with my gas leak detector and with soap bubbles. Detected trace amount of gas still in the inducer cabinet, however, after extensive testing with the soap bubbles, I found no leaks along the gas pipe. I arrived at the customer's home to find a clogged main sewer. I accessed the 4" brass cap on the cast iron stack in the basement and used a 3/4 cable to run 120' of line. I used a F6 cutter to remove the blockage. I found that the roots were the cause of the blockage. After cleaning up the work area, I replaced the 4" pipe with a new cap and installed a root-killing chemical. I also signed the customer up for our OCFC program.

I arrived at a home with a clogged 2” kitchen drain. I accessed the cleanout in the basement and ran a 5/16 cable 50’ to the clog. I used a grease and food blockage to break up the clog. I ran the sink and washing machine to ensure proper drainage.

I found that the inducer is not creating enough pressure to close the high fire pressure switch. Also, the blower motor is not engaging every time it is signaled by the board, so the high limit is opening. If the customer wants to proceed with this repair, the blower and inducer need to be replaced. I will provide the customer a quote on this repair. Customer is searching for AC Repair Near Me for a problem with their thermostat. Upon arrival the technician found the thermostat would not turn on, even with new batteries. Tried swapping the battery case with the other thermostat and it still wouldn’t turn on. The thermostat is wireless so it is only powered by batteries. The thermostat is bad and needs replaced. I ordered a new MHK2 kit from Trane under PR 12705, they said it could be delivered tomorrow. Quoted $558.04 for the repair. Only collected dispatch fee today. 6/5/24 Returned and replaced thermostat. Set it up for the equipment and tested operation. Everything ran correctly, at this time the system is operating properly.

Customer searching for Air conditioning repair due to system not cooling. Upon arrival the technician found the system completely empty of refrigerant. A previous technician had recharged the system the night before. This technician pressurized the evaporator coil and line set and found the leak in the evaporator coil. The technician found that the condensate trap completely clogged and inducer motor making a loud rattling noise. The technician cleaned the trap, checked inducer capacitor and made sure there is no obstruction on the flue pipe and or inside the inducer compartment. The unit is now closing the pressure switch and reaching set temperature. But the inducer motor needs to be replaced before it fails completely, however, due to age of the unit (34 years old) the technician recommends replacing the unit.
