Found system not operating. The furnace was trying to run but the flames weren’t lighting. I could hear water in the inducer motor. I found the condensate drain was completely plugged and the inducer motor was full of water. I cleared all condensate drain lines and cleaned the trap. Poured water through the lines and trap to make sure they were all clear and tested operation. Everything ran correctly and the system is operating properly at this time.
Earlier today, I serviced a Trane XR16 central air conditioning system at a local residence. The homeowner had reported the unit was not providing adequate cooling. Upon inspection, I found the condenser coils were heavily obstructed by dirt and debris. Using a commercial coil cleaner and a soft-bristle brush, I thoroughly cleaned the coils. I also replaced the HVAC system's air filter. After completing these maintenance tasks, I tested the system and confirmed it is now operating at peak efficiency, delivering the expected cooling performance.
Upon arrival, customer needed second main shut off above floor moved over a few feet in the kitchen. Shut off main water shut off. Moved over pex lines to where new cabinets will be installed. Secured all connections and verified proper operation and that there were no leaks. All working properly at this time.
