Did not show up at scheduled time. I had an appt with numerous confirmation emails stating it was 1-2:30pm. By 2:55pm I called and offices were closed for the day already?????? got transferred to a call center which took my info. Someone called about 10-15min later to say they were on their way and that they were told my appt time was 3-5pm. 4 ppl showed up 2ea HVAC & plumbing. HVAC left a/o talking to me. 1 gentleman from plumbing said he was done too and I asked if he got all 5 bathrooms. He had in fact missed one upstairs. Spent 1min in it and then said he needed my signature. After he left I realized he missed another 2 bathrooms-the 2nd one on main floor and one in basement. Only 3 toilets had the dye tab in them which included the upstairs one he had missed and went back to. I even asked him if he had done all 5 and listed where they all were. I have never seen such incompetence before. I will never be using your service again.

I did an online service request due to our ac not always blowing cold air. We got a call back and an appointment set up. Chase came out at the time that was stated and determined our unit was low on freon. Promptly filled it back up and tested the system. Cold air was blowing out like it should. He was very professional, neat and left everything clean before he left. He also explained what was wrong and how he fixed it. Very happy with the service from both Lanz and Chase.

I had a great experience with LANZ Plumbing Heating/Cooling Services, especially with Wyatt S. — he is truly the “BOSS.” Wyatt is the Lead/Senior Plumbing Technician, and his knowledge and professionalism were outstanding.Before calling LANZ, I contacted 4 different plumbing companies. Most of the technicians barely even looked at the pipe and immediately gave me outrageous quotes close to $2,000 just to repair a small pinhole leak. It honestly felt like they were more interested in selling expensive repairs than actually solving the problem.Wyatt was completely different. Within literally 2 minutes, he diagnosed the issue, explained everything clearly, and already had a practical solution ready. The best part was the cost — it was almost 10 times cheaper than what the other companies quoted me. You can immediately tell he has years of real experience and truly cares about helping customers instead of overcharging them.What impressed me even more was that he didn’t just fix the issue and leave. He took extra time to inspect the surrounding pipes and plumbing to make sure everything else was in good condition and that there were no additional hidden problems. I had a water leak in my front yard, with a significant amount of water pooling on the sidewalk and in the street. I called Lanz, and the Drain Manager, Shannon, came right away to inspect the site. He suspected a broken sump pump drain, he made a map on the grass showing the location of the drain, and brought a camera to inspect the pipes from the inside, which allowed for an accurate diagnosis of the issue. He shared the videos through a link, along with his assessment of the problem and the view inside the drain pipes. I am impressed by the quick response, clear communication, and reasonable costs. I will call Lanz any time there are plumbing issues in my home.

They came quickly to help me with a backup up plumbing situation at my house. They rodded out my main sewer line to fix it - it was was clogged with tree roots. They showed me the video inside my pipes and I saw the big chunk of roots that they brought up. I was happy with their work and felt their price was fair - it was a flat fee, but took awhile.

Had issues with a backed up septic (didnt know that at the time). Called Lanz Plumbing on a Sunday evening and they were at the house within 30 minutes. They identified the most likely cause almost right away and after some digging, verified that the septic inlet had been clogged. Once that was cleared, we tested the plumbing lines, and they ran a camera to ensure it was all resolved. They filled the dug hole back in and cleaned it up for us. I thought the job they did was great! Responded quickly to a stressful situation, friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I would call them again, absolutely!

The repair technician arrived in less than 30 minutes after requesting service. He examined my sewer line with a camera and determined vey quickly that there was sludge build up due to tree roots in the line. He was very professional and informed me of each procedure in the process. When he had completed the cleaning he ran a camera the the complete length of my sewer line and I was able to see the results. I am very happy with the job and will definitely call Lanzinc the next time I need this done!

The HVAC Trane Consultant, Michael Savage, took a great deal of time to examine our current HVAC system and then explain the benefits of a new Trane HVAC system. The Trane installation team headed by Chris Sussen, was very professional and explained what they were installing and how the various components worked together. They were very neat and wore masks the entire time they were in our home. They explained and demonstrated how the thermostat controlled the HVAC system.

Called this business with an air conditioner issue. They came out the same day. I explained that I work until 4:30, they told me, no problem. The technician was already on site when I got there. I called them at 10pm on July 2 because my AC stopped cooling. The technician called me and explained that he couldn’t get here that night but would be here the next morning around 9am as I would be the second client. I called the office in the morning and they explained it would probably be a little bit later in the morning. So the repair person arrived at my house around 11:30 AM. I asked someone for recommendations on Heating & Cooling Company and she immediately recommended me to try LANZ. I called them and Rich answered my phone and without asking a lot of questions or FBI- ing me, or asking ridiculous questions, he immediately dispatched the Joey who is well knowledgeable about what he was doing, The diagnosis came out that I needed a new water heater which I also was aware of the old age of my Water Heater because I have tried several repairs on it, and other companies were too exaggerated about the prices and all the dispatcher flat fees, very high for no big deal.The next day Joey and Kyle were ready with my new water heater and the insulation just took less than 2 hours. The two technicians Joey and Kyle are very knowledgeable, respectful, strong, clean, focused and above all, they educated me about the goodness of being LANZ customer and the free services which comes with it. My water heater was approved by the Inspector of Champaign Division and everything was well assembled. Within 24 hours, I had my Hot water back and enjoying every bit of it. Thank you so much for the great customer care service you showed.They (LANZ Company) made a follow up phone call to make sure everything is well and asking me the size of my Air filters so that they can drop them off. Am very happy!I 100% recommend this company. You will see it yourself.

My drainage was slowly getting worse and worse. My grandson flushed the toilet. Not only did it not go down, but started backing up into my tub! YUCK! I needed help asap! So I immediately called (Thursday evening after hours), and left a message. They called at 8a Friday to set up a time for them to come diagnose and fix it. They were here within an hour!! Come to find out there was and had been a deceased possum in my main line. They get an extra star for dealing with the horrible stench!! It was quite the job clearing it all out! At first 1 gentleman, and then a second came. The entire time I felt like this job was a priority to them. They communicated throughout…even with my autistic/adhd 9 year old grandson. Both men were extremely polite and informative. Exceptional customer service!!! Plus cleaned up the best they could, and gave me suggestions on how I should clean up what they couldn’t. Also replaced the 2 caps that were missing that’s allowed the possum to get in. The cost was fair and comparable. Best part…supporting a local small business. I highly recommend them. Absolutely phenomenal service in every way!
