They charged me $154 to tell me how to fix the leak myself. Plumber said they don’t caulk windows inside showers. Seems like a plumbing issue to me if the shower is causing leakage inside the house. $79 to come to the house and then an additional $75 to tell me to fix it myself. I called Lanz because they had good reviews. If you have a plumbing issue, call someone else.

This was our annual HVAC inspection as well as the plumbing inspection. Chase was friendly and did a nice job with the HVAC. The plumber never introduced himself, never called in advance and had zero personality. He did the inspection but did not send a follow-up report. It seems that everything turned out fine though.

Last winter, they installed an ERV and a heat pump water heater. This winter Wes replaced my ancient gas furnace and A/C unit with a combination heat pump system with some rudimentary zone control. For the first time our top floor is neither too hot nor too cold. Great work. One step at a time, Lanz is turning our fixer-upper into a comfortable home.

Will was here as scheduled. A coworker was also here to check the plumbing. I would like to say that Will was awesome. I've had problems with the filters causing a vibrating noise. I could fix it by buying a much cheaper filter. Will actually took the time and found out what was causing the vibration and fixed it!!! He didn't have to because it had nothing to do with filters or the heating unit. He fixed it!!! Now I am able to use the good filters you all provide and no annoying humming sound. He is outstanding.

On 12/16 We had Lanz crew of, Nic W. and Nic C. come out and do service on the new furnace and water heater they installed for us earlier this year plus, check all my plumbing. Didn't know that was part of the service but Very appreciated! They called before the scheduled appointment to see if they could come out early? Great! Furnace checked and cleaned, all faucets and drains checked. Got a detailed report on tests and operation. It even sounds smoother than before. Very good crew!Thanks guysMike

Wes and his 2 man crew showed up at 7 am on the coldest day of the year (-2). Removed old furnace and central air. Installed new Trane Hybrid (gas furnace/Heat Pump) combination system. By 3:30, they were finished (incredible speed and efficiency). The installation was beautiful…everything was done to perfection. They were very particular in cleaning up after themselves (Wes vacuumed the floors and swept the garage out). They hauled away the old furnace and a/c. Wes spent a good bit of time training us to use the high tech thermostat and the Trane app on my phone. Everything was professionally done…in short I highly recommend Lanz heating and cooling.

Great service, as always. Shout out to Victor, the technician; he was friendly and knowledgeable, quickly diagnosed the issue and had my furnace working again promptly. The tubing to the pressure sensor was clogged, and the burners wouldn't ignite, so it was cleaned out and the issue was resolved.

Labor to find a faulty part that is under warranty. Will pay another $175 to have new/replacement part installed. The outside mini-split unit froze up badly. The circuit board burnt from short circuiting.

Kurt came to look at our bedroom heating issue last week. After talking through all the options (upsizing ducts, mini split, etc) he looked at the furnace, found a tiny, very high, out of reach louvre handle to the upstairs main. It was almost closed! Got it flipped open and our bedroom has been a good 5+ degrees warmer consistently!Appreciate him being honest and seeing if this would work. He chose to show me, and didnt down play the louvre or try to up sell us.His genuine care and trying the simplest thing first will have us coming back to Lanz for our future needs and big future replacements!

Service call for hvac, less than one hour. Price was high and he said it was for 1.5 hrs. When questioned, he said 30 min was for travel time. This is on top of what they charge for “service call” of $85. When asked if this wasn’t for travel fees, apparently it is not. I called the office who promised a call back which never happened. Very high fees for just tinkering with blower motor and adjusting some vents.

It took part a week to coming from being ordered 11/17/25. Lanz office called the afternoon of 11/24/25 to see when available for Technician to come out. Scheduled Tech to come out ASAP that day and within a few hours Tech called. Tech arrived within an 30 min of call that he was on his way. Tech replaced Heater motherboard and wiring without having to replace capacitor and tested. It took about 30-40 minutes.

Both the HVAC and the plumbing techs were excellent. Work quickly and efficiently plus they were very thorough. Cleaned up after themselves and left the spaces as clean as they found them. The plumbing techs also went into our crawl space to check all the plumbing lines in the house. Two of the best technicians we have ever had in our house!! Lanz did a fantastic job of providing us with a new ducted gas furnace/air conditioner. Their staff was on site at our home just a day or two after our call, and I was very impressed with their technical expertise and ability to explain concepts, risks, and benefits in a digestible fashion. With Kurt's help, we were able to quickly decide which type of furnace to install.After receiving a quote, Kurt with Lanz inspected our ductwork (as much as possible without risking any damage to structure, ceilings, or attic insulation) to ensure that our shiny new furnace would function well as a retrofit within the existing duct system. After everything was lined up, installation began 7:00 AM this past Wednesday and was complete no later than 4:00 PM that day.The installation team did a commendable job, and definitely went above and beyond to make sure that we would have a working heater without adding any complications. They explained the filter changing process to me thoroughly, they walked me and my wife through the settings and scheduling on the fancy new thermostat, and they were very polite and considerate in general. I'd have them back for another job in a heartbeat!In one fell swoop, we were able to completely eliminate issues with our 30 year old R-22 fan coil unit AND our 60 year old leaky boiler. All thanks to Lanz. Highly recommended!
