Great service, as always. Shout out to Victor, the technician; he was friendly and knowledgeable, quickly diagnosed the issue and had my furnace working again promptly. The tubing to the pressure sensor was clogged, and the burners wouldn't ignite, so it was cleaned out and the issue was resolved.
Called with Heating down headed into a very cold weekend and they were SWAMPED. Said it would probably be the next morning before they could get someone out. It was looking to be a cold night. An hour later they called back saying they had a technician on their way! We were up and going shortly after. Thanks for squeezing me in! (Also did a great job with testing and diagnostics, and quick on the repair, very thorough)
Labor to find a faulty part that is under warranty. Will pay another $175 to have new/replacement part installed. The outside mini-split unit froze up badly. The circuit board burnt from short circuiting.
Kurt came to look at our bedroom heating issue last week. After talking through all the options (upsizing ducts, mini split, etc) he looked at the furnace, found a tiny, very high, out of reach louvre handle to the upstairs main. It was almost closed! Got it flipped open and our bedroom has been a good 5+ degrees warmer consistently!Appreciate him being honest and seeing if this would work. He chose to show me, and didnt down play the louvre or try to up sell us.His genuine care and trying the simplest thing first will have us coming back to Lanz for our future needs and big future replacements!
Service call for hvac, less than one hour. Price was high and he said it was for 1.5 hrs. When questioned, he said 30 min was for travel time. This is on top of what they charge for “service call” of $85. When asked if this wasn’t for travel fees, apparently it is not. I called the office who promised a call back which never happened. Very high fees for just tinkering with blower motor and adjusting some vents.
I would highly recommend Lanz. Kurtis thoroughly explained the different systems available to me for purchase. He was knowledgeable and patient with my questions. The installation team was polite, knowledgeable, and made sure I understood my new HVAC system. I am so pleased with how smoothly and quickly everything went that I will continue to use Lanz and will recommend them to friends and family.
I’ve had service done a couple of times before in the past and again recently. Each time the service techs have been very professional and knowledgeable on the work they perform. Definitely my go to for repairs and maintenance

I needed emergency service for a significant water leak on an upstairs toilet. The emergency process worked smoothly and I was connected with the on call plumber. He set a time and showed up as expected. Joel was professional., knowledgeable, and friendly. Within an hour he had the problem resolved and cleaned the workspace nicely. I would absolutely recommend Lanz.

Very friendly staff. I called about a leak I thought I had under my bathtub and all it was was the shower head leaking onto the faucet onto the floor thank god they didnt try to tell me it was something much worse so I definetly Appreciate the honesty and how friendly the staff is. They did fix my toilet that I thought had problems and fixed it for a reasonable price. They came the day I called very quick to come service your problem. It took part a week to coming from being ordered 11/17/25. Lanz office called the afternoon of 11/24/25 to see when available for Technician to come out. Scheduled Tech to come out ASAP that day and within a few hours Tech called. Tech arrived within an 30 min of call that he was on his way. Tech replaced Heater motherboard and wiring without having to replace capacitor and tested. It took about 30-40 minutes.
This was a great experience! Lanz professionals were knowledgeable and thorough. Very personable as well. I will definitely call on Lanz again for help with my next plumbing issue.

Both the HVAC and the plumbing techs were excellent. Work quickly and efficiently plus they were very thorough. Cleaned up after themselves and left the spaces as clean as they found them. The plumbing techs also went into our crawl space to check all the plumbing lines in the house. Two of the best technicians we have ever had in our house!! Called with minor plumbing emergency and Nick showed up and completed repairs quickly and professionally. He was courteous and repaired our leaks all within a little over an hour. Outstanding service!

Lanz did a fantastic job of providing us with a new ducted gas furnace/air conditioner. Their staff was on site at our home just a day or two after our call, and I was very impressed with their technical expertise and ability to explain concepts, risks, and benefits in a digestible fashion. With Kurt's help, we were able to quickly decide which type of furnace to install.After receiving a quote, Kurt with Lanz inspected our ductwork (as much as possible without risking any damage to structure, ceilings, or attic insulation) to ensure that our shiny new furnace would function well as a retrofit within the existing duct system. After everything was lined up, installation began 7:00 AM this past Wednesday and was complete no later than 4:00 PM that day.The installation team did a commendable job, and definitely went above and beyond to make sure that we would have a working heater without adding any complications. They explained the filter changing process to me thoroughly, they walked me and my wife through the settings and scheduling on the fancy new thermostat, and they were very polite and considerate in general. I'd have them back for another job in a heartbeat!In one fell swoop, we were able to completely eliminate issues with our 30 year old R-22 fan coil unit AND our 60 year old leaky boiler. All thanks to Lanz. Highly recommended!

I was parked at a gas station today and watched the driver of Truck 60 go out of his way to hold the door open multiple times for an elderly community member. It was such a simple gesture, but it spoke volumes about the kindness and respect Lanz employees show. What a thoughtful, professional way to represent the company—truly impressive!
Tom Stigers from Lanz inspected the plumbing in my condo. He called ahead and came on time. He carefully and thoroughly inspected the plumbing system. He was courteous and professional throughout the process. Based on this experience, I will call Lanz when I have any plumbing problems and can recommend them to others.
EXCELLENT SERVICE!We just had Lanz “rod our main line,” which is the clearing of the big wastewater pipe that runs from your house to the sewer. 2 men, Skylar and Dedrick, quickly arrived—(WITHIN AN HOUR)—and went right to work. While Dedrick operated the mechanical auger, Skylar kept a close eye down the manhole on the other side of the street, to notify him when the auger had arrived and the pipe had been cleared all the way through. Afterwards, we ran the bathtub full force and flushed all the toilets multiple times to ensure that all was clear. The entire process took just under an hour, and the two men couldn’t have been nicer. My sincerest thanks to Skylar and Dedrick, and to the management at Lanz—it all starts at the top—and you all did a great job! —Mark Otnes

I would like to say that David came out to my mother’s home on Friday, November 7,2025 to service the furnace. He was very professional and very knowledgeable about his craft. He was very patient and willing to answer the questions that I had lined up. He also made me aware of the BCFC package which I’m very thankful for. David is a great technician and an asset to the Lanz Heating and Cooling organization.
Lanz helped me the same day I called after my heat went out. Chase talked me through what was wrong, answered any questions, and was friendly.Lanz was quick, cheaper than other companies (even after hours), and was timely and efficient. I'll definitely be a returning customer, just hopefully no time soon!
Four years later and another service call, we are still customers of Lanz. I feel like the overall knowledge of the folks we deal with has grown as the business grows and becomes more mature. We are part of their comfort family, which comes with a monthly charge. I feel like there are times we get so much from it that the expense is more than offset by service and peace of mind.
