I sent a request online (on a Sunday evening) regarding a clogged bathtub and someone responded within five minutes letting me know that someone would be calling me the following business day to schedule a time for service. They called me the next morning (Monday) to schedule the service. The guys came to my home, promptly, on the same day. My tub was fixed in less than 30 minutes. It’s good as new!The guys were very nice and introduced themselves before entering my home. They addressed me by name the entire time, which is nice because sometimes you don’t get that. They explained the fees before working and made sure I gave consent for the work. The amount was the same as I had been quoted the previous day. The guys explained what they would be doing and gave tips on what I can do to prevent future clogs. I wish I had called years ago lol!Thanks again for the excellent service. I’m looking forward to using my shower with no standing water! This is great!

June 2025 Update: been 3 years since got new air conditioner and furnace. Couldnt be happier. Lanz was here today for semi-annual inspection. Everything is working great, pointed out 25+ year old water heater. Gave us a quote, along with the message that it could continue to serve us well for a number of years, but to be aware that it could also fail. Gave us a few pointers to look out for, like not enough hot water, but today still working well. Very professional, supportive, and answered all the questions i had. Glad they are our HVAC provider.Our Lanz service includes a plumbing inspection. They didn't try to oversell us, but did point out the problems with our bathroom shutoff that I knew were stuck and not functional, but hadn't taken care of. They gave me a very reasonable quote for getting those replaced, and I am grateful They reminded me. I would not have remembered until one of them failed completely and we would have had water damage. We've been on a plan with Lanz for 9 years now and it truly has been great.Older-Our compressor went out on our 22 year old system, and we have had small issues with our furnace the last two years, so we decided to upgrade our entire system, furnace and air conditioner. Lanz was great, gave us options, explained the differences, and helped us understand the benefits of the system we decided to go with. Kurt was helpful, available, and knowledgeable, great experience.They have earned my trust and I will always be a Lanz customer.Older - Lanz has been great, and today we had our air conditioning system maintenanced. Victor was courteous, knowledgeable, and very informative as he explained the work he was doing. He answered all of my questions, and it was a great experience. I would be glad to have him be our Lanz rep for any future needs.
Very happy with this company. I called on a Saturday morning due to the ac not working. They were here in less than an hour. Inspected furnance and ac unit. Within an hour he had things cleaned and working. He was polite, friendly, and very professional. Will definitely use them again.
The technicians were always on time and very professional. Everyone I met was friendly and personable from Michael Savage to the entire HVAC and plumbing installation crew. Everything was installed on a timely fashion which I appreciate since it was going to get hot. My installation was even moved up by 4 days. I would definitely recommend Lanz.

Tech was very knowledgeable and was able to identify the problem quickly. I was prepared to pay the dispatch fee and was under the impression that this fee included assessment to determine the problem. Once the tech arrived, I was advised that there would be an additional fee to diagnose the problem. The total expense exceeded $300 which seems excessive given that the problem was identified in under 10 minutes. I wish that the appointment scheduler would have mentioned the diagnostic fee ahead of time so I could have had the opportunity to consider other options.
I recently hired lands to clear a clog in my bathroom sink. I had called another company, and the root issue was unable to be fixed. The tech that Lanz sent out Did a great job and worked on it for a long time however he needed to call the enforcements in order to solve the issue and when I went to pay, I was Expecting more than just the basic charge for a cloud removal, however I was told that they were using my unique problem as a training opportunity and I would be only charged the standard amount which was a very pleasing outcome for me. Every technician I have had experience with has been kind and polite and Diligent and I’m always happy to use Lanz Because I believe I will get a fair deal.
I just had the semi-annual maintenance performed on my HVAC system and plumbing This is the first time I had the plumbing maintenance done as part of the semi-annual HVAC maintenance. The technicians were very polite and answered all of my questions.I was skeptical of the value of the plumbing maintenance but now I am a believer. They discovered a problem with my water backup sump pump when they tested it. The water backup pump would not have worked if it was needed. Its failure would have caused significant damage to things in the basement if the main sump pump had quit working. They were able to repair it and get it working properly at no additional charge.They also determined what the issue was with a toilet that was not functioning properly.All in all it was a great service experience.
I purchased the higher level service contract and Lanz has been great about notifying me about time for furnace and plumbing checkup. Service people are excellent and take the time to talk to you about options. Feels like friends coming over to help.

Great customer service! We recently put in a new HVAC unit. Michael helped us make the best decision for our household and budget. We were surprised by the difference the new one made. In the past, the temperature was set at 69 degrees, but with the new unit, we can keep it at 72 or higher, and it feels cooler than before, as it is now pulling humidity from the home. Everyone on their team has been easy to work with, excellent in follow-up, and respectful while in our home. We haven't received a power bill since installing the unit, but I anticipate it will go down. Highly recommend Lanz!

The service overall was good. Technician Jesse was professional and did the job well.The communication could be worked on a bit from the company.Our appointment was for 1pm. At 1:10pm I called the office and spoke with Steve, if I’m not mistaken. I introduced myself and asked Steve if we still had an appointment for 1pm. He said yes. He said the tech was running behind and should arrive “sometime” this afternoon. I asked for a round about time, and he said around 2 or after. I said, in a calm tone, our appointment was for 1pm, we planned for 1pm and now we have to wait. I asked Steve if they could implement a plan to call customers if they will be late. Now, I could tell this rubbed Steve the wrong way. He wasn’t blatantly irritated, but I could tell he was irritated, because his tone changed just a bit. He wasn’t rude, but I could tell. He said, the tech just finished up and should be heading your way in about 15 or 20 minutes. I said great! I then said, in a calm tone, I am an easy guy to get along with, and communication is key with me. I said, I don’t care if you will be late, just call and let me know. He said ok. I started to say have a good day and he hung up.I know this a long review, but I believe in giving my full review for a business, whether it’s good or bad.I did appreciate Jesse and he did a good job.
Josh has been at our home twice to do an emergency repair and to perform maintenance our on AC units. Both times I was impressed with his knowledge and his ability to explain the issues to someone lacking in the knowledge of how AC units work. He took the time to show me where the filters are located so that I can change them on each unit. Thanks Josh! I appreciate your level of service.

We use their services for a clogged drain. They responded even though it was a late night issue and came first thing in the morning. They worked diligently for 2.5 hours and solved our problem. We are happy that we chose Lanz

tldr: the employees are friendly (hence the 2 stars not 1), the prices are a crime, the scheduling is a joke, the service is mediocre. On multiple occasions Lanz came to fix a problem, failed to fix it properly, and then had to come back and fix it again.First time: blocked drain. Guy 1, "unclogs" it and leaves, charging me 200. Did not fix the symptom OR the cause. Guy 2, finds the cause (poorly arranged pipes in the basement), fixes the symptom and not the cause. Guy 3, starts fixing the cause (quotes a price)... realizes he planned his solution poorly. Quotes me a new price that is double the previous. He's already started repairs so what am I to do??? Lanz DID give me a credit for the first dispatch, but the overall price was still over 1000$ for a few hours of work rerouting pipes.Second time: new toilet install. Leaking a year later, no discount, no accountability. I felt like I bought a used car from Matilda's father, it ran JUST long enough to survive the warranty.There were also two other occasions with no particular issues with the service, except for the price which came out to around $400/hour!!
My parents had Lanz out for a clogged drain, and an unknown leak with their bathroom plumbing. Lanz was quick, extremely professional, considerate and even pointed them in the right direction for recommended repairs. This is the new family “go-to” company for HVAC, plumbing and underground solutions.
We were interested in a second opinion on a heating/ac system, and Lanz was willing to come out within a day to provide the second opinion. My sister, who needed the second opinion, has memory problems. She forgot that the tech was coming and at the first visit was out walking her dog and not home. The tech was very kind, and came back later in the day to provide the service call. He serviced the system for a very reasonable price in comparison to the other company, and we are now solid Lanz customers.

Our salesman, Michael, was friendly, professional, thorough, and responsive. I asked many questions and always felt my time and satisfaction were valued. When Michael didn’t know the answer, he found someone who did. Proposals were provided promptly and even revised for me several times on request. Lanz is not the cheapest Vendor out there, but I have literally nothing bad to say about my entire encounter from the first phone call to the completion of the installation. They even have checked in several times in the following weeks to make sure the equipment was operating to my satisfaction. We also had plumbing work done and I am highly satisfied. Once again, not the least expensive but I feel great peace of mind with the work that has been done in my home. A great company with an exceptional team!Will the Technician came to help after we accidentally hit a wire on the AC unit while trimming grass. He was courteous, professional, and thoroughly considerate and helpful in the repair!
I was told my furnace and air conditioner needed to be replaced and that the cost would be $20,000.I contacted Lanz Plumbing, Heating & Cooling for a second opinion. From the initial consultation and walk-through with Kurt, to the final handshakes with Jamie and Austin, this company has exceeded all expectations. Wealth of knowledge and experience, ability to set goals and meet them, and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done well are hallmarks of a quality company. And these people have them in spades. Our home is a tri-level that has only ever had baseboard heat so everything had to be installed from scratch. No easy task, but Kurt bid it well for the right equipment at a fair price, and Jaime and Austin made it happen...On 3 different levels, for 3 solid days , in 95+ heat...The entire system looks and functions like pros did it..'cause they did. Are we satisfied? ..Yes for sure.. Would we recommend Lanz? . Yes..and they can put a sign in our yard anytime..
