Lanz comes every 6mo to perform maintenance on our HVAC system that was installed in June of 2022 based on the service plan we purchased. They contact us to schedule the appointments. They are flexible to accommodate our schedule. They communicate clearly. And provide friendly service while the work is done. They make sure all our questions and concerns are answered before they leave. We are very satisfied with the HVAC system and their service to date.

Very pleased with the replacement of an old style leaky shut-off valve before the meter, with new lever style shut-off. Decided to replace the old style valve on the house side of meter too, with no sales pressure. Work done well in a bit of a small space, efficiently, at reasonable cost, and coordinated with water utility shut-off time.
In a day when many companies lack customer service, Lanz goes above and beyond. We had to get an entire system replacement, and every single person we interacted with was both competent and professional. Kurt (our salesperson) worked hard to make sure we had all our questioned answered, and he was kind and responsive. We had some major issues to deal with, and he could not have been more helpful. Lanz worked hard to move fast once we were ready, and they were on our time schedule. They also did a great job in not leaving a mess, cleaned up everything, and were very careful in our home. They also came back and double checked and made sure everything was working perfectly. We are very happy with our new system, and I would recommend Lanz to anyone. Zac did a fantastic job. Extremely knowledgeable. Didn't charge me to adjust humidifier and thoroughly explained how to properly set it for the controller that was provided. Lanz and Zac are very professional.

Furnace was having issues igniting. Contacted the first result on Google, Mattex, who said I would have to pay a holiday rate and after hours rate even though it was 3pm on a Wednesday before Thanksgiving and said I would have to pay $275 just for someone to come out. Contacted Lanz and they advised me it would only be a $79 service charge and any parts that were required. Will came out and was very professional and courteous. He explained everything he was doing and provided some helpful insight for the future. Highly recommend their service!
The crew that came to clean our ducts were very professional and diligent to be sure they cleaned every vent and both furnaces. We were cautious about having our ducts cleaned, as we had the 'popcorn' in our ceilings removed recently, plus we have multiple hairy pets. I had no idea how much debris we had in our ducts and the amount removed was shocking. Our house smells so much cleaner and feels warmer – I would not hesitate to recommend this crew at Lanz to anyone. Very reliable and trustworthy.

I called Lanz for help since my furnace made a loud noise on Nov. 5.Technician said my furnace has no issue on Nov. 6.I paid $79.00 for dispatch fee.My furnace stopped working on Nov. 12 so I called again.Another technician fixed the problem on Nov. 13.Their service is super-reliable, prompt, and honest.They did not charge dispatch fee for their 2nd visit.
This was our annual HVAC inspection as well as the plumbing inspection. Chase was friendly and did a nice job with the HVAC. The plumber never introduced himself, never called in advance and had zero personality. He did the inspection but did not send a follow-up report. It seems that everything turned out fine though.
I have Lanz for 7 years now for repairs and HVAC/plumbing maintenance. Technicians on site are professional and they are polite. Most importantly, they get the job done. Cost wise they are a little on the high side but still reasonable.

From the sales staff to the removal and installation of our new system the team at Lanz were great. They followed up with a tech that helped out with the last questions we had on the unit. Made an appointment over the phone to have my HVAC serviced. I had to schedule out several weeks. Wrote it in in my calendar. Re-arranged my schedule to accommodate. Day comes, no Lanz. I call— they have no record of my appointment. Then they schedule me 4 weeks out again! At least this time they confirmed the appointment with a text message. Last time the service itself was great which is why I called them this time. I hope they’ll show up in a month. Seems like a long time to wait after being bumped in the first place…. OK they saw my review and called me right away and rescheduled for a sooner time, which I appreciate.
They cleaned out air ducts quickly and thoroughly. Nice people, good work! Had to call them again couple weeks later to fix the furnace. Kind people, did quick and efficient job!
Our house had no heat, Chase was there a few hours after I called and stayed way beyond normal work hours to get us back up and warm! Highly recommend!
Kyle and Shannon came out to work on a bathroom drain that would no longer drain. They were very knowledgeable, very efficient, and listened to exactly what I had to say when describing the problem. They used a camera and quickly located root invasion and quickly had the drain cleaned and running. I was also offered very useful information about what to watch for when dealing with plumbing in an older home. When they left, everything was working properly and I felt that I got a reasonable price for a job well done and appreciate the information that was provided as a bonus. I definitely will call Lanz for any future plumbing issues.
I really appreciate how responsive Lanz is, they’ve done a few repairs for me now and they’re always very accommodating & willing to answer questions I have about my home’s plumbing and such, and they’re always willing to address small issues I bring up when the tech is out, I really appreciate how thorough they are.

Wow, blown away by the service. I called after hours due to my heater not kicking on. Chris was fantastic! He was helpful, responsive and enthusiastic about helping. I could sense the passion that he has for his job and he was genuinely excited to be able to help even after hours. He got me back up and running within an hour. I will certainly be using Lanz in the future and I’ll be requesting Chris personally.
Ron was amazing. My building's contractor said I would need a new shower system in my tiled bathroom because the water wasn't running properly and a new faucet for the sink because there was just a trickle. That building contractor said that the fixtures I had were poor quality. That contractor also thought a plumber would simply be able to change out the shower system for a new, expensive, high quality product from Kohler or similar. Ron told me no - it doesn't work that way because of what was behind the wall and that to change out the system - unless I found the identical Delta - would mean losing tile and thus a bathroom remodel at huge cost. Ron saved me a fortune. Ron fixed everything, even going to the hardware for some little thing he needed. In both cases - the shower system and the sink faucet, it was just a matter of a little clog in the latter and some adjustment with screws and a thing in the former. He was so honest and so competent. I even had purchased a new faucet thinking I'd need one. He said no and told me return it to Menards. I will certainly use LANZ again and request Ron.
The technician was professional and knowledgeable. He (Brett) explained the problem clearly so even a lay person understood. After assessing the situation and remedy, Bret returned the following day and completed the job promptly. I was pleased with the outcome and would recommend Lanz to anyone needing assistance. My situation concerned a faulty sump-pump.
Phillip & Joe were EXCELLENT. They were all of the items listed above and beyond. They were Friendly, worked very hard and did not delay their time in getting the job done that was scheduled. They came and jumped in head first and got right to work. They explained what they were going to do and got right to it. If we had any questions they were right there to explain what was happening with the Water Heater Installation. They did what they needed to do. They cleaned up any messes that were necessary and did not leave any trash when they were all done with the project. GREAT JOB FELLOWS. The maintenance person who came to do our home to conduct the maintenance to our mini splits and outside unit was very professional and knowledgeable. We told him we had a problem with the upstairs unit that leakedcwater into the room onto a book shelf with books on the top got soaked with water and ruined the books. When he checked into the problem, he found the condensate line was blocked and backing up. He cleared the blockage and recommended to have him reroute the condensate line to prevent the problem from occurring. We said yes and he rerouted the line. I recommend them for their honesty and willingness to work with the customer. Thanks.
Cannot recommend this company highly enough. Our a/c went out a few weeks ago, and after sending a technician out, we found out we needed an entirely new system (a/c, air handler - the whole 9 yards). Every single person we spoke to/came into contact with was kind, professional, and friendly - even to our dog, who is old and slow but still wanted to "help". After getting another quote, we determined their pricing to be right on par for what we needed. Michael, our salesman, took plenty of time to make sure we were well educated, our questions answered, and even applied for rebates on our behalf.The install went so smoothly. This being the first time we've had to replace an entire system, we couldn't have asked for more. They even helped me download and navigate the app for the new thermostat.We had a great experience and will certainly be using them for any of our future needs. 10/10, absolutely recommend!
