A Lanz serviceman came this morning to do routine maintenance on our furnace. I told him I thought I smelled gas but others did not so would he simply do a test for me to see if any was detected. He nicely agreed.He came back to tell me not only did he smell gas when he went in the furnace room, his tester came back positive AND he had found the issue.He did say the leak was minor and posed no immediate danger but he would call his boss to see how soon someone could come out to fix it.He came back just a few minutes later to say he was going to see if he could find the part at the local hardware store in our small town and if he could not, his boss would go get the part and bring it to him.Not long after that, he returned to say he could not find the part but was shutting off the gas and going to prep the area so that when his boss arrived with the part he would be ready to go.I am pleased to say that he was able to replace the part, retest for a leak and all is good now. He turned gas back on and relit all pilot lights.I am so very pleased that he took me seriously and did the test and fixed the issue.I will continue to use Lanz and to recommend them to any who ask.

Fantastic service by Jeremy ! Jeremy went the extra mile to solve a unique problem. By sticking with it, Jeremy systematically, step by step fixed the problem before he left the job site. Jeremy gave crystal clear descriptions about how he was resolving the furnace issue. I appreciate Jeremy’s attention to detail about his 20 year HVAC trade. 10 out of 10!
